Spotlight Quote

"Look, I get why you want to stay guarded, but I promise that you can trust me. If I was evil and secretly planning against you, I probably would have done something way cooler than getting chest punted across a grave yard."

Well Clarke didn't take my admission so good. I can't really blame him. There was no warning and it's a big deal.

Things got weird and a bit tense, so I walked away. I'm not sure where he went, but he didn't come with me in the house. I hope he's ok.

In the house I had a little... confrontation with Paige. Actually it turned out to be a good thing. It helped me realize something that I needed to do in my life. And now, I'm off to take care of my responsibilities.

Fate is a funny thing. It decides to take an interest that strangest times.

After leaving Paige and the Manor behind, I went to take care of my mortal obligations. And there he was. A little beaten up, but he was there. And we had the most intense connection at that moment - physically and beyond.

Then it was over and we were definitely better for it. Which is why we went back to the apartment and relived it.

Life is good.

Shit! All that fucking and now I'm fucked. Gawd I'm going to be late, Elise is going to find out, and then my ass is going to be fired.

We had to go back to the Manor because Phoebe still has the ticket for Clarke. And then of course while we are there we get caught up in... something. I'm not even sure.

But luckily there was a conjuror there who somehow knew we needed the ticket. I know they were just trying to get rid of us, but I wasn't about to question it.

So off to the fashion show!

So suddenly Clarke and I are on the outs again. Not sure how it happened. Well yeah I do. He's hiding something from me. Something is definitely wrong and he won't spill. Whatever. Let him be an ass.

The fashion show was pretty normal. Nothing outof the ordinary or supernatural going on, which is always a plus. And then Cynthia shows up.

Clarke and I go after her. She wants to bring us to Kilmer. So I cast a spell for my article so I don't end up losing my job and went with her. And now I'm in this weird house. Oh yeah, did I mention I got no powers?

This oughta be fun.

Clarke is nowhere to be found at first. But what I do find is a frickin' dead body! Way to start off this adventure.

Well I yelled loud enough to catch Clarke's attention. As well as Max. Apparently we weren't the only ones dragged here. Brenda and two others were upstairs with Max, with Brenda being in bad shape.

We figure out that we're trapped. No powers and no way out. Well I figure that Cynthia got us here then maybe she can help us get out. She is a victim too after all.

Dying is not a good time. There's all that pain - especially when you have this evil son of a bitch feeding off your life force before you cross over - and then the Spirit Realm is on the cooler side. All around, it's just not fun. Then, as if my day couldn't possibly get any worse, the Elder brigade shows up, led by my biggest fan, Angela.

Long story short, I was told of Clarke's death and Brenda's heroics. And I was given a choice. Reclaim my destiny as a whitelighter or allow my soul to become a part of the ether until it got recycled back into the world. I chose the former.

The Initiation Ceremony was as I remembered. Full of protocol. They should loosen up some in the Heavens. They're entirely too uptight. The waters from the Spring of Prudence was pretty refreshing.

It's over now and I'm a whitelighter again. No way they're letting me back to San Francisco though. I've caused too much damage, left too big of an impression on the lives there. I wonder where they'll send me now.

Speaking of shit that's worse the second time around... Whitelighter training sucks. Especially since I've already been through it. I'm just bored. At least I have two of the nicer Elders teaching me.

I spend my free time in the Spirit Realm, hoping that I will encounter Clarke's soul as it passes through, but it hasn't happened yet. And I don't care if it is counterproductive to my growth as a Whitelighter or as an individual. I need that closure. I need to know that he's okay.

Prue's a good. Scratch that. Prue's a fucking kickass friend.

She came and found me during one of my visits to the Spirit Realm. Apparently the presence of Whitelighters sends out a vibe different than spirits, so we tend to attract some notice.

I told her about Clarke. About how it felt to lose him without saying goodbye. About my hope.

Turns out, she was his guide from one life to the next. She saw him, spoke with him. Heh, she said he was 'question-y' which is so like him. She also broke the rules for me. I'm such a bad influence.

Prue took me to a place called Limbo - a kind of in between - hoping that we would catch up with him before he transitioned to the next stage in his life. We didn't find him, but someone found us... Brenda.

Apparently her godly powers gives her access to other realms that she couldn't breach before. She was surprised to find me alive, but was less than thrilled when I told her she couldn't let Ashley know. She understood, but she didn't like it. Can't say that I blame her really. She's not my biggest fan.

After that reunion special, Prue insisted that we return to the Heavens. I wasn't thrilled to leave empty-handed, but what else could I do? It had been a long shot. Just need to face the truth; I may never see Clarke again.

God that hurts.
